Chromebook Not Working Correctly?

If you have any issues with your chromebook, please first read these tech tips.

Lost your charger? You should purchase one from the school. Pay for one in the finance office and bring the receipt down to the library to pick one up.

Chromebook Repair Program

Procedure if Lost or Stolen: 

1. Notify the library staff of lost or stolen device IMMEDIATELY.
2. Go to all your classes to look for the device within the building (if you were here when you lost it). Be sure to ASK your teachers, they may have put it in a locked cabinet or some other out-of-the-way place.
3. We will look to see if we can find the last place it was logged in.
4. If we can not find it, the device will be locked with a message on the screen for anyone who finds it to turn it into Jeffco.
5. Student may check out a loaner device for one month to see if the device is found but will need to purchase a new device within that month if it is not found. 

Is your chromebook not working properly? Check out this troubleshooting document then contact Ms. Weller or Ms. Moss right away, don't wait!

Procedure if Broken:

  • Bring your device to the library and if we can do a quick fix, we will and send you back to class. If we cannot fix it, we will arrange to give you a loaner.
  • When repair is finished, loaner must be turned in and you will get your computer back.
