Update 5/17/21:
Senior Families-

Great news, Red Rocks has increased its capacity to 6,300!
That means there is no longer a limit on how many guests can attend graduation on May 21st at 9:00 am. Also, we no longer need to have waivers or temperature checks for graduates or attendees.

That being said, please keep in mind:

  • Please do still practice social distancing and wear a mask upon entering and exiting the venue as a safety precaution
  • We are still encourage families to limit their guests to 8-10 to continue to be responsible community members
  • There will be no hand shaking during the ceremony for safety
  • Students (including graduating seniors) or guests in isolation or quarantine will not be able to attend.
  • If a school building is closed due to an outbreak, underclassmen will not be able to attend commencement ceremonies.
  • If a school building is closed due to an outbreak, graduates will be able to attend graduation on the 8th day of quarantine with a negative test result. At this time no schools are currently closed due to quarantine.

Reminder-graduation practice is Thursday May 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Chatfield. Our plan is to be outside but if the weather does not cooperate, we will move inside and students will need to wear masks inside the building.

Graduation is May 21st at 9:00 am at Red Rocks.

Things to be aware of!

-Please update the college you will be attending in Naviance, this is the only way we know where to send your final transcripts.

-If you are in a concurrent enrollment class, please be aware the college credit does not show up on your transcript you will need to request those transcripts from ACC or CU Succeeds through CU Denver.

-Be sure to complete the two surveys in Naviance!

-Be sure to move anything from your home drive (H:) to Google Drive or download it to a personal computer. Here are instructions to use a tool that will get you to your H drive at school. This can be done at any time, just remember to get EVERYTHING you think you might need because in the middle of July those items will be wiped clean and no one will be able to recover them for you. Do this sometime in mid-to late-May so Ms. Weller can help with any questions you might have.

-When you are completely finished with school (but before the middle of July), after you have your H drive items, then use Google Takeout to move your Google items to a personal Google account. This is very important as you will lose access to all of this and again, no one will be able to recover this! Do this mid- to late-May so Ms. Weller can help with any questions you might have.
