Shadow Days

Thank you for considering Chatfield Senior High School! We're excited to offer several shadow days where prospective students can experience firsthand life as a Charger.

The Chatfield Shadow Days for 2025-2026 are scheduled for:

• Friday, October 24th
• Wednesday, November 5th
• Wednesday, November 19th
• Wednesday, December 3rd
• Wednesday, December 10th 
• Friday, January 9th
• Wednesday, January 21st

 

Shadow Day Format:

Parent/Guardian Schedule

8:20 AM - 9:00 AM
Presentation by Principal Thanos (Library)
Learn about Chatfield's programs, culture, and opportunities while students are on their campus tour.

9:05 AM - 9:40 AM
Campus Tour with Principal Thanos (Optional)
Join a guided tour of our facilities and classrooms.

9:40 AM - 11:20 AM
Library Available (Optional)
Parents/guardians are welcome to work or relax in the Library, or you may choose to leave campus and return for pickup.

11:20 AM - Student Pickup
Students will be dismissed and ready for pickup at this time.

 

Student Schedule

8:20 AM - Arrival & Check-in (Library)
Check in at the Library and meet our student leaders who will guide you on a school tour.

Morning Class Experience
You'll receive a personalized schedule to attend:

• Period 2 - Core or elective class
• Period 3 - Core or elective class
• Part of Advisement - Including a special Q&A session

You'll experience both a core class (Math, English, Science, or Social Studies) and an elective class, giving you a true feel for life as a Chatfield Charger!

Q&A Session (Beginning of Advisement)
All shadow students will gather in the Community Room for a Q&A session with a student panel—a great opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from current students.

11:20 AM - Dismissal
Students will be released to return to their school.

Chatfield's Future Charger Night is for prospective students. This year it will be on December 3rd, 2025.
